WEBINAR: Positioning Your REIT for Index Inclusion for Greater Trading Liquidity and Investor Visibility (14 Sept 2020)

WEBINAR OVERVIEW

Indices such as the FTSE EPRA/NAREIT Index series, the SGX S-REIT index series, FTSE Straits Times Index and the MSCI index series are often heard about in the investment world.  With the increased use of these indices by institutional investors in portfolio construction, strategic allocation and performance benchmarking, REITs that are included in key indices enjoy higher investor visibility, unitholder base diversification and greater trading liquidity.

The panel of speakers in this webinar will share their insights and knowledge on the ground rules, qualifying criteria, pathway to index inclusion and real case studies of SREITs which have walked the path. The takeaways from this webinar will be valuable knowledge that S-REIT managers, in particular the IROs can use to enhance their IR strategy and value-add to their REIT's investment proposition through inclusion in indices.

The webinar will cover:

  • How are indices used in investing and why are they important?
  • Which key indices do Real Estate/REIT investors follow?
  • Essential knowledge and ground rules of index inclusion
  • Roadmap to getting that inclusion into in larger cap indices
  • Case studies of index inclusion of SREITs
  • Q&A with the panelists

Participants will receive 1 supplementary CPD hour. Register early to secure your place!

Date: 14 September 2020

Time: 2.00 - 3.15pm

Fee: S$40 for IRPAS and/or REITAS members and S$80 for non-members

This webinar will be conducted in English as a Zoom Webinar.
